26 Oct GReTA in Brazil for the Curitiba Oncoplastic Course COMEET 22-23rd November 2019
Once again, it is a great honor being partners of Prof. Cicero Urban and his team in Curitiba for the Oncoplastic Course. Practical skills are part of the basic knowledge of a surgeon. Sometimes learning anatomy, or technical maneuvers while performing surgery in theatre or assisting operation can be cumbersome. The theater list is running and you want to be on time for next case, clinics, MDTs and management take a huge amount of time and mentorship becomes difficult. The Curitiba Course offers an outstanding chance to surgical trainees of learning in purely didactic framework. Prof. Urban runs a cooperation between the Universidad Positivo in Curitiba and the MARC (Miami Anatomical Research Centre). The course is unique because it combines porcine models, fresh anatomical pieces and live models! The trainees will practice in pedicles identification and harvesting, prostheses placements, flaps, micropigmentation and pre-operative drawings
GReTA is glad to give its contribution with one of the senior scientific advisors of the organization.
Prof John Benson from Addembrokes Hospital in Cambridge UK and University of Cambridge, will deliver senior lectures on hot oncological topics and will interact personally with participants to discuss and elaborate on controversies.
So, a good mix of hands on practice and theoretical knowledge will create a unique opportunity for junior breast surgeon from Brazil, South America and all over the world.
Come and join the Curitiba Course, enjoy the friendly Brazilian setting, improve your network and your skills with Prof. Urban, Prof Benson and an outstanding International Faculty.GReTA in Brazil for the Curitiba Oncoplastic Course COMEET 22-23rd November 2019 #GretaOncoplastic #Oncology Click To Tweet
